What the work is
A raga is not repertoire to be delivered. It is a set of decisions made in the room, in the hour, for the people in front of you - and the training exists so those decisions can be made quickly.

Sitar for film, series, advertising and album sessions. Remote stems or in-room, to a click or free, with the tone matched to the mix.

How it goes

Before you ask
How are fees worked out?
Fees depend on the format - a solo baithak, a full ensemble concert, or a studio session - and on the date, city and duration. Send the details through the enquiry form and you will get a figure, not a range.
What are the travel and accommodation terms?
For dates outside the home city, travel for the artist and accompanists, local transport, and accommodation are arranged by the presenter or billed at cost. Instruments travel as cabin or hand baggage wherever the carrier allows.
Is there a technical rider?
Yes - a one-page rider covering microphone preference, monitoring, stage seating and sound-check timing. It is on the biography page under Downloads, and is sent with every confirmed booking.
How do remote studio sessions work?
Send the reference, the tempo map and the key. You get back dry and processed stems at 48 kHz / 24-bit, usually within two to three working days, with one round of revisions included.
What formats do the workshops take?
Half-day and full-day workshops for institutions, and shorter lecture-demonstrations for general audiences. One-to-one teaching is limited and taken on by arrangement.
How much notice do you need?
Concerts are usually confirmed two to three months ahead. Studio sessions can often be turned around inside a week. Ask anyway - the calendar sometimes opens up.
