Privacy

The short version

This site has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party fonts or scripts. Nothing is collected about you unless you type it into a form and send it.

What is collected

• Enquiry form. Your name, email, and whatever else you choose to fill in - phone, city, event date, budget range and message. Used only to answer the enquiry.
• Mailing list. Your email address, and the date you joined. Used only to send occasional notes about concerts and releases.
• Technical. Your IP address and browser user-agent are stored alongside a form submission, purely to limit abuse of the form.

Cookies

One session cookie, set only so the forms can carry a security token that stops them being submitted from another site. It contains no personal data and expires when you close the browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

The site also uses your browser's own session storage to remember two conveniences: that you have already seen the opening animation, and where you were in a track if you were playing one. Both stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.

Embedded video

Videos are hosted on YouTube and are not loaded until you click play. Until then, no request reaches YouTube and it learns nothing about your visit. Once you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that player. The privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain is used.

How long it is kept

• Enquiries: kept while they are relevant to the booking, then deleted.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
• Form abuse records: cleared automatically after a short period.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Nothing is sold, shared or passed on. Enquiries reach the artist and the person handling bookings, and are sent by email through the site's mail provider - which is the only third party involved.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted - write to hello@bhagirathbhatt.com and it will be done.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
